A charming and picturesque resort in the Portes de Soleil ski region.
Morzine, in the Haute Savoie region on the French/Swiss border, is one of the 14 resorts within the famous Portes du Soleil. On a clear day from the summit of Chamossière you can make out Lake Geneva to the north, Mont Blanc to the south and the Swiss border is only a stone’s throw away.
Enjoy the scenery and charm of Morzine, whatever your ability!
With 46 lifts and 149km of piste, there’s plenty to keep everyone busy! From the snow-cannoned Pleney nursery slopes in the middle of the resort to the wide open reds of the Les Gets bowl, the expanse of piste seems almost limitless. On the first tentative days, beginners particularly appreciate some of the gentle runs on the tree-lined slopes. For intermediates, the local slopes offer challenging reds and easy blacks. From the Les Gets ridge, a wonderful run called Le Grand Pre brings you nicely back to the village at the end of the day.
“Really good and accessible Après ski facilities”
Great skiing over two resorts under one lift pass
